Terms of Service for Performances & Bookings

Bookings & payment
All performances require a written confirmation. A deposit is usually required to secure the date.
The remaining balance is payable before the event unless otherwise agreed.
Cancellation
More than 60 days before the event – full refund of deposit
15 to 59 days before – 50% fee retained
Less than 15 days – full fee retained
If the event is rescheduled with at least 28 days’ notice, the fee can be transferred to a new date
Artist cancellation
If I am unable to perform due to illness or unforeseen circumstances:
A suitable replacement will be offered where possible
If a replacement is not accepted or available, any payments will be refunded in full
Unforeseen events (Force Majeure)
No fees are payable if performance becomes impossible due to events beyond the Hirer’s control (examples include: national emergency, lockdowns, strikes). Notice should be given immediately.
Safety & venue requirements
The Hirer agrees to provide:
A safe working environment
A clear performance space
Reasonable sound amplification for stage work
A secure, private changing area (public toilets are not acceptable)
Videography
I may bring a videographer for promotional purposes. This will always be discreet. If you prefer no videography, please let me know at least 7 days before the event.
Insurance
I am covered by Equity’s Public Liability Insurance. Copies can be provided on request.
Liability
The Hirer is not responsible for loss or damage to the artist’s property unless caused by the Hirer or their agents.
These are key terms only. Full contracts are issued individually once an enquiry is accepted.
