How much does it cost to hire a magician in London?
Professional magicians in London can charge anywhere from around £500 to £5,000+, depending on experience, timings and format. Most of my bookings are around £1,000 to £2,000, with larger or customised events costing more. I’ll let the reviews speak for themselves.
What is close up magic and how does it work?
Close up magic happens right in front of your guests, often in their hands. I move between small groups during drinks, networking or dinner, usually reaching around 50 to 60 guests per hour.
What is the difference between close up magic and a stage show?
Close up magic is performed for small groups around the room. A stage show brings everyone together for one shared performance, usually lasting around 10 to 45 minutes. Many events use both.
How long should I hire a magician for?
It depends mainly on guest numbers. For close up magic, I can usually reach around 50 to 60 people per hour. Stage shows typically last 10 to 45 minutes. Send me your guest count and timings and I’ll recommend what makes sense.

What types of events do you perform at?
I perform at corporate events, weddings, conferences, awards evenings, Christmas parties, private events and trade shows. I also work as an event host and MC.
Can the magic be customised for my company or event?
Yes. I can build your company, product or message into the magic. I previously worked in cloud infrastructure and engineering, so I’m particularly comfortable creating custom performances around technical businesses and products.
Where are you based and do you travel outside London?
I’m based in London and regularly perform throughout the UK. I also travel internationally for selected corporate events, weddings and private bookings.
How far in advance should I book a magician?
As soon as your date is confirmed. Popular Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays can book months ahead, especially around Christmas. Last minute bookings are sometimes possible too.
