How Netskope turned a busy stand into real conversations

InfoSecurity Europe 2026, ExCeL London. Magic that got the right people to stop, engage and sit down.

The brief

Netskope ran a theatre-style stand at InfoSecurity Europe 2026, with presentations throughout the day on cyber security, AI security and cloud security.

The challenge: stand out in a packed exhibition hall full of competing vendors, and get the right people to stop, engage and sit down for the talks.

What I did

My job was to build crowds and create energy around the stand before each presentation, then hand warmed-up visitors over to the Netskope team for the real conversations.

I worked the floor and the stand all day: drawing people in, filling seats before the talks, and giving the sales team an easy, natural way to start the right conversations.

On the stand

My role was to increase engagement, build crowds and create energy around the stand before each presentation. In practice that meant:

  • Interactive magic and mind reading to stop passing attendees and start conversations.
  • Short theatre warm-up sessions right before each talk to help fill the seats.
  • Effects customised around the Netskope brand, including branded predictions and logo reveals.
  • Netskope-branded giveaways built into the interactive demonstrations.
  • Music, audience interaction and live participation to lift the atmosphere.
  • Roaming the floor around the stand to catch attendees who would otherwise have walked past.
  • Introducing speakers and smoothing the transitions between sessions.

The aim was never to replace the sales team. It was to warm people up, create curiosity, and hand interested visitors over to the Netskope reps for the real conversations.

The results

InfoSecurity Europe 2026 generated approximately 905 leads across the exhibition, including a healthy number of high-intent "Tier A" prospects, plus multiple product demos and follow-up conversations throughout the show.

While it isn't possible to attribute specific leads to any single activity, the event team's feedback was clear: audience engagement was strong, presentation attendance improved noticeably on day two, and the stand kept a consistently energetic atmosphere throughout.

One organiser noted that I engaged with more attendees than many of the sales team, helping drive traffic to the presentations and encouraging visitors to spend longer at the stand.

In their words

"Daniel was fantastic at engaging visitors and bringing energy to the stand. He consistently attracted attendees, helped fill presentation sessions and created a great atmosphere throughout the event. We'd happily work with him again."

Why it works for technology stands

This approach works especially well for cyber security, cloud, AI and SaaS companies, where the product is complex and the first conversation is the hardest part. Magic gives people an easy, low-pressure reason to stop, and a natural handover into a real discussion.

Comfortable with technical audiences

Alongside performing, I work in cloud infrastructure, so I'm at ease around technical crowds and can speak naturally with engineers, sales teams, leadership and buyers. On a floor full of cyber security and cloud vendors, that means the magic lands as a credible conversation starter, not a gimmick.

He performed Reddit themed magic which our staff LOVED. I had colleagues talk about it for weeks after! We've had him for 3 years in a row so I'd highly recommend!
