Jewish magician · London & across the UK

Jewish magician.
Mind blowing magic, with respect for your traditions.

I'm Daniel Bower, a Jewish magician and former JFS pupil. I perform close up magic and mind reading for Jewish weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, private celebrations and synagogue events in London and across the UK. A Shabbat friendly show is available.

I understand that a great performance needs to feel right for the people in the room. That includes respecting religious observance and personal boundaries.

A bit about me

JFS, Stanmore
and Grodzinski bagels.

I grew up in Stanmore eating Grodzinski bagels and went to JFS. Jewish life is part of my own background, so performing for the community feels personal.

My first ever paid gig was at JW3. I've since performed for several United Synagogue shuls. I went to university in Nottingham and still donate monthly to Nottingham Chabad.

I also learnt and taught Krav Maga. These are all parts of my life beyond the magic.

Your guests, your traditions

A show that respects the room.

Shabbat friendly performances

I have a Shabbat friendly show available, with close up magic or a stage show. There is no technology, no fire, no coins or pens, and no ripping. I've also performed alongside a cappella singers at a Tony Page event to make the show more immersive.

Respect for physical boundaries

I understand shomer negiah and respect guests who avoid physical contact with the opposite sex. I can perform without touching women, including handshakes, and adapt audience participation so guests can take part comfortably.

Magic for your celebration

Whether you're organising a shul evening, a Bar or Bat Mitzvah, a wedding or a private celebration, we'll agree the format and timings around your event. The aim is the same: a respectful performance that leaves your guests wondering how it was possible.

Built for Shabbat

A new show, from scratch.

A few years ago, I couldn't perform my usual show on Shabbat. Much of it relied on fire, technology and electronic props. So I started from scratch and built a full Shabbat friendly set, with no technology, no fire and nothing muktzeh.

It's still modern and interactive, with close up magic or a stage show for Friday night dinners (FNDs), Shabbat lunches and Bar Mitzvahs. At a recent Bar Mitzvah, guests were laughing, gasping and fully involved. I've also performed alongside a cappella singers at a Tony Page event to make the show more immersive.

Bar Mitzvah magic

Right there with your guests.

SENSATIONAL! Your magic show absolutely blew everyone away, young and old. The magical souvenirs were the icing on the cake and made our simcha truly unforgettable.

Boaz A

Daniel was a perfect addition to our relaxed lunch party. He wowed our guests with his close up magic. He was a pleasure to deal with, was extremely engaging - and perfect for all ages. Highly recommend!

Uri called me and said, “Be here in 15 minutes.” I visited his museum in Tel Aviv, Israel.
