Magic for events in Stanmore
I’ve been a professional magician since 2008 and I’m a member of The Magic Circle. Whether you’re planning a Bar Mitzvah, a birthday at home in Canons Park or a company dinner, I bring magic that happens right in your guests’ hands, with no stage required and no one left out.
- Bar and Bat Mitzvahs: close up magic during the reception for the guests who would never go near a stage, and a stage show that brings the whole room together. Shabbat friendly shows are available, see my Jewish magician page.
- Weddings and simchas: magic for the drinks reception, between courses and in the evening.
- Private parties: birthdays, anniversaries and dinner parties, at home or at a venue.
- Corporate events and hosting: mingling magic, stage shows and a host to keep the running order moving.
- Community fundraisers and awards evenings: a stage show your whole community can enjoy together.

A stage routine at the Stanmore and Canons Park Synagogue Pickleball Awards 2026.
My connection to Stanmore and Canons Park Synagogue
I grew up in Stanmore, and my family have been part of Stanmore and Canons Park United Synagogue (SACPS) for a long time. I had my own Bar Mitzvah there, and there was a magician at it. Years later I’m the one who gets to come back and entertain the community as a professional.
I’ve now performed at SACPS many times, at fundraisers, Purim parties, community celebrations and awards evenings, most recently the Pickleball Awards in 2026. In the Freeman Susman Hall I’ve performed on stage for audiences of more than 300, and Rabbi Eli has joined in the magic too.
Thank you so much Daniel, you really enhanced the evening and helped us bring a really unforgettable finale to it all.
That experience carries over to any event in Stanmore, in a hall or at home: working a big room, keeping children and grandparents involved together, and respecting the occasion. Where it’s needed I can also work around religious requirements, including shomer negiah.

Frequently asked questions
Hiring a magician for an event in Stanmore.

Do you perform in Stanmore and Canons Park?
Yes. I grew up in Stanmore and have performed at Stanmore and Canons Park Synagogue many times, as well as at private parties and celebrations in the area. I also perform across north west London and throughout the UK.
What kinds of events do you do in Stanmore?
Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, weddings and simchas, birthdays and dinner parties at home, corporate events, and community fundraisers and awards evenings.
Should I choose close up magic or a stage show?
Close up magic suits receptions, kiddush and dinner tables, at around 50 to 60 guests per hour. A stage show brings a whole room together at once, which works well in a hall. I’ve performed on stage in the Freeman Susman Hall for more than 300 guests. Many events use both, and I’m happy to recommend a format. See close up magic or a stage show.
Can you perform a Shabbat friendly show or work around religious requirements?
Yes. A Shabbat friendly show is available, with no fire, coins, pens or ripping, and I respect shomer negiah and can perform without touching women, including handshakes. More on my Jewish magician page.
How much does a magician in Stanmore cost?
Most of my magic bookings are around £1,000 to £2,000, with larger or customised events costing more. Your quote depends on the date, duration and format. See what a magician costs in the UK.
How far in advance should I book?
As soon as your date is confirmed. Popular Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays can book months ahead, and last minute bookings are sometimes possible too. Send me your date, venue and approximate guest numbers through the enquiry form.
